304 stainless steel is a common material in stainless steel. It has the characteristics of good processing performance and high toughness. The carbon content of 304L stainless steel is much smaller than that of 304. Compared with ordinary 304 stainless steel, food grade 304 stainless steel has stricter content indicators. For example: the international definition of 304 stainless steel is basically 18%-20% of chromium and 8%-10% of nickel, but food-grade 304 stainless steel is 18% of chromium and 8% of nickel, which is allowed to fluctuate within a certain range, and Limit the content of various heavy metals. In other words, 304 stainless steel is not necessarily food grade 304 stainless steel

304 stainless steel grade: 0Cr18Ni9 (0Cr19Ni9) 06Cr19Ni9 S30408

Chemical composition: C: 0.08, Si: 1.0 Mn: 2.0, Cr: 18.020.0, Ni: 8.010.5, S: 0.03, P: 0.035 N0.1.

304 is widely used for:

1. It is used in food production equipment. With the improvement of the quality of life, the tableware we use must be made of food-grade materials. 304 stainless steel is the suitable material for processing these tableware.

2. It can also be used for auto parts. Now there are more and more cars. The windshield wipers, mufflers and molded products on the car can be made of 304 stainless steel.

3. It is suitable for medical equipment. In the hospital, everyone can see that the tool cabinets for placing medicines can be made of 304 stainless steel.

4. Roofs and side walls of industrial buildings. In these applications, the owner’s construction cost may be more important than aesthetics, and the surface is not very clean. 304 stainless steel works reasonably well in dry indoor environments.

5. 304 stainless steel is not only suitable for the above industries, but also widely used in chemistry, agriculture, ship parts, etc.
